What it is for
An AI short film maker for the story you can see but cannot shoot: a scene, a memory, a feeling, told in your own words. The brief asks the engine to break it into shots and keep faces, wardrobe and place consistent, and it carries the look and running time you chose, so you send directions instead of a loose prompt.

How to make it
- Step 1
Write the story
Tell it in a few plain sentences: who is there, where, and the one moment that matters. Light, weather and sound give the engine more to film than a plot summary does.
- Step 2
Pick the look and length
Cinematic is the preselected look; the others are Custom, Experimental, Monochrome, Animated and Artistic. Set the running time between 15 and 90 seconds (it starts at 45); it goes into the brief as the length to plan shots for. The reference box on the form takes photos, clips and audio up to what Imagera Warlord Pro accepts, preloaded in Sandbox by Direct, not carried to Canvas, so for Canvas write the face and the place into the story.

Direct it in Sandbox
Press “Direct my short film”: Sandbox opens Imagera Warlord Pro in Reference to video and uploads your photos into its reference slots. It needs at least one photo; with none attached, you get Imagera Warlord Pro in Text to video instead. One clip per run; prompt polish may rewrite the brief unless you switch it off.

Or run it step by step in Canvas
Open in Canvas adds two nodes, Key frames and Direct the film, each priced before it runs, so one can be re-run alone. Direct the film animates the Key frames still. The video node is set to 8 seconds and picks its engine until you choose one. Check the actor’s face on the Key frames still before you spend credits on Direct the film.

Questions
Can I keep the same actor across shots?
Describe them the same way in every brief: age, hair, clothes, one telling detail. Each run is a separate clip, so check the face in every take. In Canvas, the Key frames node draws a still first and the Direct the film node animates it, so you can check the face before you run the video node.
Can I redo one part without paying for the rest?
In Canvas, yes: Key frames and Direct the film run as separate nodes, each with its own price. Redraw the still until the face is right, then run Direct the film from the one you kept. A run makes one still and one clip, not a shot list you can edit shot by shot.
How long can the film be?
15–90 seconds on the form, starting at 45. Each run renders one clip, so at the Canvas node's 8-second setting a 45-second film is about 6 clips, joined in your editor. Plan one clip per beat of the story, and write the beats in order.
What does it cost?
Credits per run, priced on the Sandbox button and on each Canvas node before you run. No paid generation costs less than 15 credits, so both nodes together cost at least 30 credits.
