Editorial Standards

Editorial Policy

How Imagera articles are written, checked, published and corrected.

Our Editorial Mission

Our articles help people decide how to create images and video with AI, and how to do it in Imagera. They should be accurate, say where their facts come from, and be clear about what was made with our own product.

We use AI to help draft articles, and we say so. What makes an article ready to publish is the checking: sources that open, prices that match the app, and images labelled for what they are.

Editorial Principles

Sourced facts

Statistics and outside facts link to the organisation that published them, with its date. If we cannot open a source, we leave the figure out.

AI-assisted, published by a person

Drafts are written with AI assistance. Our drafting tool can only save drafts; a member of the Imagera team reviews each article and publishes it.

Prices from the product

Imagera prices in articles are checked against the price list the app uses. The credit quote you see before you generate is always the final price.

Labelled images

Images made with Imagera for an article are labelled as Imagera output. Illustrations are labelled as illustrations and never presented as a model's result.

Content Guidelines

What We Publish

  • Guides and how-tos for tasks you can do in Imagera
  • Comparisons based on public information, with the date it was checked
  • Statistics where every figure links to its source
  • Examples made with Imagera, labelled as such

What We Avoid

  • Invented authors, credentials, reviews or testimonials
  • Claims of hands-on tests we did not run
  • Figures without a source we could open
  • Pricing claims the product does not make (an automatic check blocks the common ones before import)

Who Writes These Articles

Imagera AI Team

The editorial byline

Articles are published under one team byline. We do not use invented author names or personas. An article written by a member of staff carries their own name and profile.

Content Review Process

1

Topic

Chosen from search data and the questions users ask

2

Draft

Written with AI assistance, with sources linked

3

Check

Automatic checks, then a person reviews facts, links and images

4

Publish

A team member publishes; the article shows its dates

Updates and Corrections

  • Dates: Every article shows when it was published and, after a change, when it was updated.
  • Corrections: Tell us about an error through support. We fix confirmed errors and update the article's date.
  • Older articles: Some articles were published before these rules. We are reviewing them, most-read first, and correct or remove what we cannot source.

Questions or Corrections?

If you spot an error or a source that no longer supports what we wrote, tell us and we will check it.
