Studio-ready portraits from a single selfie
Imagera AI - AI content creation platform for generating images, cloning voices, creating avatars, and enhancing videos. Privacy Policy | Terms
A real-time beauty filter & background for your webcam — natural-looking skin, makeup, hair and camera adjustments on Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex, Whereby & Discord. It looks like you, just rested — never a fake filter — and runs entirely on your own device.
Chrome may show a “proceed with caution” note — it appears on every newer extension until Google's trust list catches up. GlowCam asks for one permission (local storage), runs only on your call tabs, and processes every frame on your own device. Your webcam feed never leaves your computer.

All beautification happens privately on your own computer, right in your browser. Your webcam feed is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored — by us or anyone.
No discrete GPU and no heavy neural upscaling required. GlowCam is built to keep up with a live call on ordinary laptops, processing every frame as it goes out.
Install once and the same look follows you across Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Whereby and Discord — no per-app plugins to juggle.
Built-in platform filters give you one smoothing slider, if any. GlowCam gives you skin, makeup, hair colour, gentle reshaping and backgrounds — with per-feature control.
GlowCam isn't a cloud service. Your video is never uploaded, never stored, never tied to your account — there is nothing to leak, and you can prove it yourself.
Every frame is processed on your own computer, inside your browser — nothing is sent to a server to be beautified.
Your webcam video is never uploaded, transmitted or stored — by Imagera or anyone else. There is nothing to leak.
Disconnect your internet and the filter still runs. The beautification never needed a server, so there is nothing to wait for and nothing to go down.
Your sign-in, your subscription status, the number of minutes you used, your saved looks, and crash diagnostics when something breaks so we can fix it. Never your video, your face data or your images.

One extension, one look — across the six platforms that run in your browser. Here's exactly how it fits each one, and what it adds over the built-in touch-up.
Meet has only a light, built-in touch-up — no virtual makeup, hair colour or reshaping. GlowCam adds the full toolkit on meet.google.com, with a look you control slider by slider.
Zoom's “Touch Up My Appearance” is a single smoothing slider — no makeup, hair or camera controls. Run GlowCam on the Zoom web client for skin, makeup, hair and background (turn Zoom's own touch-up off to avoid double-processing).
Teams offers a basic touch-up plus a separate, dated cosmetics app. GlowCam gives you one consistent, fully adjustable look on teams.microsoft.com — the same one you use everywhere else.
Some apps add a smoothing slider. GlowCam is the full toolkit, everywhere.

Built-in capabilities vary by platform — Zoom's "Touch Up My Appearance" is a single smoothing slider; Google Meet offers a light touch-up (and recently a subtle AI makeup option); Teams adds a touch-up plus a separate cosmetics app. GlowCam gives you per-feature skin, makeup, hair, gentle reshaping and background — the same look, on all six.
The whole point is subtlety. Start from these levels and no one reads it as a filter — you just look like you on a good day. Nudge anything up only where you want more.

Join from the web client of Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex, Whereby or Discord — GlowCam is a Chrome extension, so it doesn't run inside the installed desktop apps.
GlowCam enhances your outgoing camera in real time. It isn't a video editor for footage you've already recorded.
It's tuned to look natural — you, rested and well-lit. It won't turn you into a different person, by design.
Good front lighting makes every result better. GlowCam does a lot on a basic webcam, but it works with your light, not against physics.
Yes. GlowCam works on the browser versions of Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Whereby and Discord. It enhances your outgoing webcam video in real time, so everyone on the call sees the improved feed.
No. Every frame is processed on your own device, inside your browser, and your webcam feed is never uploaded, transmitted or stored by us or any third party. The extension does talk to our servers for the things that are not video: signing you in, checking your trial or subscription, counting the minutes you used, syncing your saved looks, and sending crash diagnostics when something breaks so we can fix it. None of those carry your video, your face data or your images.
Your saved looks do; your live sliders do not. The sliders you are currently dialling in are stored in the browser on the computer you are using, so a second machine starts from its own settings. To carry a setup across, open "My looks", choose "Save current" and give it a name — saved looks are attached to your account, so signing in on the other computer and loading that look reproduces it exactly. This is also how to keep a look safe if you ever reinstall the extension.
GlowCam replaces your camera feed with an enhanced copy, so if it cannot draw that copy the call can end up showing a blank picture. The extension now detects this by itself: it checks that real frames are being produced and, if they are not, it first switches to a different way of drawing them and then — if that still fails — hands the call back your untouched camera automatically, so you are never left with a black square. Reload the call tab to try the filter again. If it keeps happening, open the call tab, press F12 for the browser console, run __glowcamSelfTest() with your camera on, and send us the result at support@imagera.ai — it names the exact subsystem that failed.
No. GlowCam is designed to run in real time on ordinary laptops. It deliberately avoids heavy neural upscaling so it can keep up with a live call on everyday hardware.
Yes. Snap Camera was discontinued in January 2023 and required a separate desktop app plus a virtual camera. GlowCam runs entirely inside your browser as a Chrome extension — there is no separate app or virtual camera to set up.
GlowCam starts with a 2-day free trial and no credit card required. After that it is $24.99/month, or $249.99/year (save ~17%) — or pay-per-use credits. Skin, makeup and background are included in the trial; hair colour and reshaping are Pro features.
GlowCam is a Chrome extension and runs on Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers that support the Chrome Web Store.
Yes. GlowCam has a master on/off switch in its popup. Turn it off and your original, unfiltered camera feed returns immediately — no need to leave or rejoin the call.
They only see your final, enhanced video — the same feed the call receives. The controls and previews stay on your side, in the GlowCam popup.
Zoom's built-in Touch Up gives you a single smoothing slider. GlowCam gives you per-feature control — skin smoothing, blemish cleanup, glow, under-eye brighten, virtual makeup (lipstick, blush, teeth and eye brightening), hair recolour, subtle face and feature reshaping (Pro), and full camera adjustments — and the same look works across Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex, Whereby and Discord.
The 2-day trial includes real-time skin retouch, virtual makeup, one-tap looks, and camera adjustments — no credit card. Pro ($24.99/month or $249.99/year) adds hair recolour and subtle face and feature reshaping. You can preview the Pro features before you subscribe.
GlowCam works on the browser versions of Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Whereby and Discord. If your platform runs in a browser tab, GlowCam enhances your outgoing webcam feed in real time.
No. You set the intensity of skin smoothing, makeup and every other effect with sliders, so the default is subtle — you look like a well-rested, well-lit version of yourself, not a warped social-app filter. You can toggle GlowCam off at any moment to compare, and most people settle on a level their callers never consciously read as a filter.
No more than arriving rested, with tidy hair, fresh makeup and good lighting. Platform touch-up sliders (like Zoom's) are already standard practice. GlowCam is a professional-grade appearance tool, not a novelty effect — keep it subtle and it simply helps you show up looking your best.
Yes. Under-eye brighten, glow, even-tone and brightness work together to help you look rested, even on an early call or after a short night. Keep the levels gentle for a natural result.
Yes. The skin tools and subtle virtual makeup give you a polished, natural look even if you're barefaced — useful for an early standup or a last-minute call.
It runs efficiently in real time on ordinary laptops, including machines several years old, and needs no dedicated graphics card. On older hardware you can keep things light by using fewer effects at once — skin smoothing and camera adjustments are the least demanding; turn off the Pro reshape and hair colour if you notice any lag.
Yes. All beautification happens on your own device, not in the cloud, so no part of your video competes with the call for bandwidth. Disconnect your WiFi and the filter keeps running on your camera. GlowCam does make small background requests to check your subscription and count the minutes you used, but they are tiny and a dropped one never turns the filter off.
No. GlowCam is a Chrome extension for the browser versions of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Whereby and Discord. Join your call from the web client instead of the desktop app and GlowCam enhances your camera immediately.
Yes. GlowCam runs on Chromium-based browsers that support the Chrome Web Store, including Microsoft Edge, Brave and Opera. It is not available on Safari or Firefox, which use different extension systems.
Not yet. GlowCam is a desktop and laptop Chrome extension, and mobile call apps do not support browser extensions. Use it on a computer via the browser version of your call platform.
Yes, with no penalty. If you cancel, your access continues to the end of the billing period you have already paid for and then stops — there is no long-term contract.
Your call simply continues unfiltered — GlowCam stops applying effects and your raw camera feed goes into the call. You can top up your credits at any time or switch to a monthly or yearly plan.
