Does GlowCam work on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams?+
Yes. GlowCam works on the browser versions of Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Whereby and Discord. It enhances your outgoing webcam video in real time, so everyone on the call sees the improved feed.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?+
No. All processing happens on your own device, inside your browser, using WebGL and on-device AI. Your webcam feed and video frames are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored by us or any third party.
Do I need a powerful PC or graphics card?+
No. GlowCam is designed to run in real time on ordinary laptops. It deliberately avoids heavy neural upscaling so it can keep up with a live call on everyday hardware.
Is GlowCam a Snap Camera alternative?+
Yes. Snap Camera was discontinued in January 2023 and required a separate desktop app plus a virtual camera. GlowCam runs entirely inside your browser as a Chrome extension — there is no separate app or virtual camera to set up.

Which browsers are supported?+
GlowCam is a Chrome extension and runs on Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers that support the Chrome Web Store.
Can I turn the filter off during a call?+
Yes. GlowCam has a master on/off switch in its popup. Turn it off and your original, unfiltered camera feed returns immediately — no need to leave or rejoin the call.
Will the people on my call see the filter being applied?+
They only see your final, enhanced video — the same feed the call receives. The controls and previews stay on your side, in the GlowCam popup.
