No reliable recovery is possible with this filter. It can make surviving edges more visible, but it has no focus reconstruction or motion-deblurring method. A clearer source is preferable when important detail has disappeared.

This filter does not generate a replacement face or reshape facial features. It does change local contrast, so strong settings can exaggerate wrinkles and skin texture. Use a restrained effect and compare against the source portrait.

Visible letter edges can become clearer, especially with a narrow radius. Missing or merged strokes cannot be recovered as verified text. Rescan the document or use the original file when letters remain ambiguous.

Inspect the label, stitching and silhouette rather than judging only the small preview. Stop increasing the effect when the surface starts to look gritty or edges acquire a rim. Sharpening does not repair inaccurate product detail.

It changes edge contrast without adding pixels. If the source fits the device limits, its dimensions stay the same; otherwise it may be reduced before sharpening. Use the linked upscaler when the print needs a larger image.

For a final delivery copy, set the intended dimensions first and assess sharpening at that size. Resizing afterward can change the edge treatment you just chose. Avoid adding another pass if the resized picture already looks crisp.
