There is no font picker or font upload. The style selects a sans-serif font stack led by Inter or a serif stack led by Georgia, with fallbacks if a font is unavailable.

The field accepts up to 120 characters, and the engine also clips text at that limit. Emoji can consume multiple units. Use a short caption rather than a paragraph for a clearer result.

Longer wording wraps automatically. Manual line breaks are converted to spaces, so the tool decides where the displayed lines end. It keeps your letter case while balancing the line lengths.

Fitting can reduce the requested size to accommodate the words. Shorten the caption first; a very narrow source can still be awkward at the smallest fitting size. Increasing Text size will not force a long sentence to remain large.

No. Placement uses Top, Center or Bottom, with centered lines. Choose another preset if the text covers the subject. Precise coordinates, rotation and left-aligned paragraphs need a different layout editor.

The meaning depends on the style: ordinary lettering uses it as the fill, the boxed look uses it behind contrasting letters, and the glowing look uses it for the glow. Check the rendered result after changing Color.

Try an outlined or boxed style and move the caption away from detailed areas. Keep the message brief and inspect the image at the size people will see it. An effect helps contrast but cannot make crowded wording easy to read.

Only one caption block is available per run. You can save the first result, open that image and add another caption, but the earlier words are then fixed pixels. Keep the original if either caption may need revision.

The exported image has no separate text layer to select. Reopen the uncaptioned original and enter the revised wording to make a new version. Saving a captioned file does not preserve an editable design project.

For captions, start with a JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC picture. JPEG and WebP inputs retain their respective output types; other accepted inputs are saved as PNG. An iPhone HEIC source is converted locally for processing rather than exported as HEIC.

Yes. Drawing text does not fill the whole canvas with a solid background. Empty areas outside the caption remain transparent in the PNG output; a boxed style makes the area directly behind its lines solid.

The working canvas retains the decoded dimensions when they fit the device. Larger sources can be scaled down, and saving with lossy compression can change pixel detail. Check the reported resolution and inspect small letters in the saved file.

Use a current browser on your phone and select the photo from your device. The same style controls draw the caption locally. If the phone runs out of memory drawing the caption, use a lower-resolution photo or finish the lettering on a computer.

No photo upload is used for this edit. The browser combines the image and caption locally. Loading the website and fonts, or reporting a processing error, can still require network requests.

This tool places the caption inside the existing photo boundaries. It does not add a blank strip below the picture or enlarge the canvas for a description. Use a layout editor when the words must sit outside the photograph.

No. The caption is drawn over the image without separating its subjects into layers. Placing words behind a subject requires a mask or a layered composition elsewhere.
